What Gets You Up In the Morning?

When you wake up in the morning, what’s the first thing you do? The first thing you think about? How do you feel when you get out of bed?

Are you spending a few minutes each morning connecting with yourself, your goals and setting a daily intention, or are you caught up in the daily grind of work, family and life?

Having a clear “why” or motivation for what you want is one of the most important steps in goal setting and becoming successful in life.

If you don’t have a “why” right now – that’s ok! A lot of people don’t. If you’re interested in having more success in your life, feeling more connected with your goals and living a more purposeful life, then you’ll want to craft your why and purpose that gets you out of bed each morning.

Top Tips for Discovering your WHY:

·  Figure out your passion – what excites you about living? What do you look forward to in your life?

·  Connect with other people in your life who you see as living purposefully and crafting a lifestyle you want. Find out how they do it and explore what values you and this person share.

· Spend time every morning when you wake up connecting with what it is you want that day. Even if what you want is to know what you want, acknowledging and connecting with that will help drive you towards success and a better understanding of self.
