“Strong women unite, weak women divide.” – Dominica Bay
International Women’s Day 2019 is all about being balanced for better #BalancedForBetter. We’re excited to share in the vision of seeing a gender-balanced world, with strong woman supporting each other!
IWD is celebrated on March 8thevery year. After women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia in 1917, March 8thbecame a national holiday there. The socialist movement and communist countries began celebrating the movement until it was adopted in 1975 by the United Nations.
International Women’s Day is especially meaningful to Pure Vibe and Vibe Life Owner, Dominica Bay who has dedicated her life to empowering women to be accountable for their fitness so they can be an inspiring role model for girls.
Afterexperiencing a violent sexual assault at age 14 Dominica’s purpose became very clear. She wanted to become the strongest, most powerful and resilient version of herself so no one could rape her again and she could give hope to survivors. She did so through perfecting her craft of health, nutrition and fitness and began encouraging women to be physically, mentally and spiritually strong.
At Pure Vibe we want all women to live the Vibe Life so they can become the best version of themselves and a positive leader in our peaceful community. Your calm mind is the ultimate tool to power through any challenge. When you practice living mindfully, you can get through anything (one breath at a time).
Women accomplish amazing things when they focus on themselves and refrain from chit chat, gossip and bullying. Too many women love to sit around, whine and point the finger. However, change comes from intelligent ACTION. We all have an active role to play in creating a world with stronger female representation. But it won’t happen over coffee talk. You got to STAND UP and start HUSTLING! And if you’re not prepared to help then please zip it and step out of the way!
