Green Superfood Detox Green Smoothie

Who doesn’t love a new green smoothie recipe? Try something new this New Year, with this detoxingly delicious green smoothie by certified raw food chef Julie Van den Kerchove at One Green Planet




  • 2 cups of water (more if you prefer a thinner consistency)
  • 3 medium bananas, fresh or frozen
  • 1 small orange, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 small grapefruit, peeled and roughly chopped (optional, if you like a bitter undertone)
  • 2 teaspoons maca powder
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds or hemp seeds (optional)
  • 2 large handfuls of spinach
  • 1 large handful of kale (or extra spinach)

Combine water, banana, orange, grapefruit, Maca, and chia seeds in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth. Add spinach and kale. Blend again.
