Infused Waters for Hydration—Apple Cinnamon and Cucumber Lemon

Hydration is an important foundation of everyday health—and infused waters give you the added benefits of electrolytes, antioxidants, and flavor without added sugar or artificial ingredients. Here are two tasty infusion combos to keep you hydrated, reduce fatigue, and flush toxins: apple-cinnamon, and cucumber-lemon.

Apple Cinnamon Infused Water Ingredients:

1 organic apple, seeds and core removed, sliced thinly

1 cinnamon stick

2 litres filtered water

Instructions:

  1. Wash apple, but do not peel. Cut into quarters and remove core and seeds. Then slice thinly, and place into 2-litre water pitcher.
  2. Break cinnamon stick into 2-3 pieces. Best not to use ground cinnamon, as it will clump.
  3. Add filtered water, stir. Wait 15 minutes to allow ingredients to infuse the water.
  4. Store in fridge or counter. Can be sipped throughout the day.
  5. When about half the water is gone, you can top up the water using the same apple slices and cinnamon.
  6. Best enjoyed within 24 hours.
