Dominica Bay

Dominica is known for her firecracker personality, infectious spirit and passion for all things health and wellness. With a strong belief in the healing power of movement Dominica believes that everyone should move daily and was determined to design a class that delivered maximum results in less time and was fun and achievable for all ages and abilities. After extensive research, Dominica and Elgan discovered the amazing fitness and health benefits of Whole Body Vibration and developed an exclusive training program that would achieve the benefits of an hour workout in just 20 minutes! Helping others is an honor that Dominica looks forward to daily and she guarantees that after a visit to Pure Vibe you’ll “Feel Better, Look Better and Live Better!” Dominica loves training the Extreme Team! Her favourite exercises are mountain climbers and lunges with the ball as these exercises target every muscle in the body thus raising your metabolic rate and blasting unwanted body fat.

Elgan Ross

An avid snowboarder from Timaru, New Zealand, Elgan moved to Whistler in 2004 and instantly fell in love with BC and it’s great outdoors! As one of two Co-Founders and Owners of Pure Vibe Fitness Studio his mission is to help you improve your health and fitness in order to enhance your performance of the activities you love such as; golf, tennis, skiing and running while creating longevity and offsetting pain and disease. Elgan and Dominica designed concise and very impactful 20 minute routines that work the entire body while focusing on HIIT training (High Intensity Interval Training) so you can get the real work done quicker instead of wasting precious hours at the gym! Elgan finds that delivering greater results in less time is one of the most rewarding aspects of Whole Body Vibration Training. He believes in small class sizes and quality training to ensure that everyone achieves their goals safely and effectively so Vibers continue to grow and never plateau!

Alexis Panton

Alexis is truly a Pure Vibe success story. Despite being very active in her youth—everything from gymnastics, acrobatics, volleyball, soccer and snowboarding; devastating health problems in her early twenties drastically limited her ability to be active. Nutrition became a vital component throughout her recovery and drove her to become very passionate about healthy living. However she came to Pure Vibe looking for a way to regain the level of fitness she had enjoyed in her youth. Right from the start Alexis knew she had discovered something very special at Pure Vibe and recognized the incredible benefits of Whole Body Vibration Training. The transformative results she experienced at Pure Vibe inspired her to pursue further study into Exercise Physiology and she successfully obtained certification as a Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council of Exercise. Alexis could not be more thrilled to join the Pure Vibe Team and to have the opportunity to share her passion for Whole Body Vibration Training with all of you!

Chelsea Brennan

Chelsea grew up in The Cowichan Valley and started her fitness journey at 13 with her love for dance. After nine years of technical training in a large variety of styles including ballet, jazz, and hip hop she went on to become a professional dancer and dance teacher which then lead her to becoming a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Her years of dance and training created an enthusiasm for challenging physical activity which is how she found Pure Vibe. Chelsea resonates with the studio atmosphere and believes that sharing group energy and positivity can encourage individual success. She loves the efficiency of whole body vibration and how it enables people to expedite their personal goals. Chelsea firmly believes that physical exercise plays an integral role in a person’s well being and she is always excited to help others increase their true potential. She is also a Yoga Instructor and works in the health and wellness industry and wants to inspire Vibers to never give up on becoming their best self thus resulting in eternal happiness!

Denisse Hernandez

Trainer

Denisse has being teaching group fitness for over 14 years throughout Mexico, USA and Canada. Denise is a certified Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor specializing in Spin, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, HIIT, TRX, Pound, Step, TBC, Kickboxing and Whole Body Vibration. Her experience, passion and certifications in many different disciplines contribute to her strong fitness background giving her an expert’s edge allowing her to deliver phenomenal results for her clients. Denisse says, “I love what I do as I am helping people get to a better place mentally, physically and spiritually and I am very excited to be part of this beautiful community and look forward to training you all soon!”

Maxine Hubbard

Trainer

Maxine is from Dorval, Quebec and moved to Vancouver because she is passionate about living an active outdoor lifestyle. In addition to having over 10 years of experience as a personal trainer and group fitness, bootcamp, spin and strength & conditioning instructor Maxine is also a sous chef and studying at The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. “I am very interested in nutrition as it goes hand in hand with our performance and health.”  For as long as she can remember sports and fitness have played a central role in her life.  Her fascination for health has brought her to push both her body and mind, constantly improving her ability as well as her knowledge.  The mentality of personal improvement, an intrinsic part of fitness, is something that she is committed to passing onto others.  In every class she always strives to deliver her best and push her clients beyond their limits. Maxine is currently competing as a road and track cyclist and loves sports specific training.  However, her love for improving people’s lives extends to all ages and abilities.  Maxine promises “no matter what your goals I will be behind you every step of the way.”

Pardis Daeechini

Ever since her childhood, Pardis has always had a huge passion for fitness, from basketball to kickboxing to dance to weight lifting and calisthenics. The love she has for fitness and helping others achieve their goals came naturally as a lifestyle which led to becoming a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. It is her honor to transform anyone’s outlook, health, physique, or life for the better. Pardis truly believes that an active and healthy lifestyle is the answer to living longer and will not only help strengthen you physically but mentally as well. She also believe that everyone’s time is very precious and is thrilled to be a part of Pure Vibe’s Whole Body Vibration training which offers a fun environment for all levels with a unique experience along with effective guaranteed results by saving you more time! Pardis looks forward to providing a life changing experience catered to you!

Samantha Highgate

Trainer

Samantha was born and raised in London, Ontario and moved to Vancouver with her twin sister to embrace the West Coast Lifestyle. She has always been very active participating in sports from an early age.  Excelling as a high school athlete she went on to play four years of college basketball.  Splitting time between Fanshawe and Algonquin College Samantha went on to earn a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion.  

She is also a Registered Health and Exercise Professional with The Ontario Fitness Council specializing in group fitness, resistance, HIIT, rehab and recovery. Samantha is thrilled to bring her skill set and positive energy to Pure Vibe and use her passion to help our vibers achieve their health and fitness goals!

Guru-Anter Kaur

Studio Manager
From a young age Guru-Anter has been enthusiastic about living a wholesome, balanced and healthy life. Despite being born and raised in Vancouver, she attended an international boarding school in India for several years, where yoga and meditation were part of the curriculum and lifestyle. As a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher she continues to incorporate these practises into her daily lifestyle.
For Guru-Anter breaking a sweat in a challenging workout every morning is absolutely essential to being successful in her school and work and in maintaining a balanced state of mind. Taking the 7:30 am Fitness allows her to get in an energizing workout before starting her busy day. Since joining the Vibe Community she has lowered her BMI, BFA, improved her core strength, muscle tone, balance, cardio, stamina, energy and is a true believer in the healing powers of Whole Body Vibration. As a full time Business Administration Student at Langara College the efficiency of the studio allows her to maximize her time and is dedicated to delivering the same quality experience for you.
